2021 End of Year Financial Update
2021 Year End Update
Dear CrossPointe,
As I reflect upon the last year I write this letter with Thanksgiving to God because 2021 has been one of the most refreshing years of my life. It has not been without it’s challenges, and there are certainly a lot of adjustments that we have made as a church in the last year and half since the pandemic began. However, God has used this year to give me a confidence in pastoring under the Lordship of Jesus Christ like I have never experienced before.
One year ago to this day I was coming home from a sabbatical where the Holy Spirit filled me with his presence to give me assurance in the days ahead that Jesus is indeed building his church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
This year we have seen many new people get connected to our church family. We have seen salvations, baptisms, new leaders are being developed and we are making disciples who are in turn making disciples. All of this is through the help and grace of God, and to God belongs all the glory. Thank you for giving in such a way that fuels the mission of CrossPointe to point our community to Jesus Christ.
CrossPointe is currently on target to meet our budget goal for the year of $180,000. As of today we remain about $10,000 from that goal. I am writing to ask that you consider giving towards meeting that goal and also giving towards an investment in our future.
We currently are lacking a place to meet after our Sunday services to host our Meet CrossPointe and Partnership in the Gospel courses. Oasis has given us permission to transform 2 of their rooms into one mid size meeting place that can comfortably seat between 20-30 people. This room would be used for many purposes such as financial peace university courses, leadership development, and hosting meals.
We have already received a donation from a local organization for all the brand new furnishings. We just need the funds to pay for flooring, paint, and other items that will help allow this room to meet the growing demands of pouring into our church family. We anticipate the total expenses to be around $3500. You can simply give to our general fund for this project and know that with your investment we will remodel this room in the coming months.
